What is the ruling on selling products that contain prizes, which children are keen to buy because of these prizes?

Contemporary scholars have differed regarding the ruling on promotional gifts. The preponderant view, in our opinion, is that they are permissible with certain conditions, including: that the buyer purchases what they need at the market price without an increase. If the gift is known to the buyer and the price of the commodity is increased because of it, there is no harm in that, and the contract would be for both the commodity and the gift together, because in contracts, what matters are the meanings. The overt gift attached to a commodity is permissible by consensus, because it is like a reduction in its price.
