What is the ruling on using spices flavored with pork if their ingredients are synthetic and the source of their flavor is not stated?

A flavor made from parts of a pig is forbidden, according to the Almighty's saying: (Say, "I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to an eater who eats it, except that it be a dead animal or spilled blood or the flesh of swine — for indeed, that is an abomination.") However, if it is synthetically produced, it is considered makrooh (disliked), because it resembles what is forbidden and could be a means to accustom oneself to the taste of pork.
