Can a Muslim jinn be summoned by legitimate means?

There is no common, lawful method for summoning a Muslim jinn, and this practice was not known among the righteous predecessors (Salaf). While it is permissible in principle to utilize and seek assistance from jinn, provided it is not done through unlawful means, for an unlawful purpose, or if it leads to prohibited outcomes, it is nevertheless better for a Muslim to avoid such practices. This is because it was not part of the guidance of the Salaf, and one cannot be certain of its potential pitfalls.
