What is the cure from the Qur'an or the Prophetic narrations to help get rid of masturbation and the diseases and delusions that follow it?

Masturbation is a sin that leads to worry and sorrow. To overcome it, one should be mindful of Allah and His constant watch, remembering the greatness of the One Whom they are disobeying. The most important aid in getting rid of this habit is marriage for those who are able. If one is unable, then they should resort to fasting.
