Will the one who lowers his gaze but does not pray feel happiness and inner peace in this world, or is there no benefit to his action?

A person who abandons prayer may benefit from some of his good deeds, and he may find momentary happiness from them. Indeed, if he lowers his gaze for the sake of Allah, that may bring him great benefits, including his guidance and establishment of prayer, because lowering the gaze purifies him more from sins and makes his acts of obedience grow more. Therefore, he should be advised to lower his gaze, along with the necessity of prayer and a warning about the consequences of abandoning it.
