Is taking a baby girl out of the incubator and her dying at home considered the killing of a soul, and what is the expiation for that if it is, given the financial hardship?

It is not permissible to take the infant girl out of the incubator if the doctors have stated that there is a possibility she will not survive outside of it. Whoever causes her removal or is negligent in doing so, despite being able to save her life, is liable for the expiation of accidental killing. However, if there was no negligence, and you could not afford the costs of her stay in the hospital, and you could not find anyone to assist you, then there is no sin upon you and no expiation.
