What is the ruling in Islam on keeping a dog for guarding, while taking care of its cleanliness and the cleanliness of the place?

It is not permissible to keep a dog unless there is a need for it. Whoever keeps a dog, other than a dog for livestock, hunting, or farming, will have two Qiraats deducted from his reward every day. This ruling also applies to guard dogs for homes and hotels, provided there is a genuine need for them.

If a need exists, then there is no objection to keeping a dog, but it must be kept in a place far from the house's furniture and belongings due to the impurity of its essence. If it licks a vessel, that vessel must be washed seven times, one of them with earth.

As for cleaning a dog, it is not permissible because touching impurities without need is forbidden by Islamic law. Furthermore, caring for the cleanliness of dogs, bringing them into homes, and allowing them to share life with their owners are intrusive customs that contradict Islamic rulings.
