What is the ruling on attending Sharia lessons via the internet instead of attending them at an institute, and is the reward considered the same as the reward for personal attendance? And what is the ruling on the acts of worship of a father who follows a heretical school of thought (madhhab bid'i) in some jurisprudential and creedal matters, and what is the way to guide him to the madhhab of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah?

You must obey your father by not going out after sunset, even if it is for seeking knowledge, as long as you are able to acquire it at home. As for your father's adherence to an innovative (heretical) madhhab, his acts of worship are valid as long as his innovation does not amount to disbelief (kufr). You should advise him gently and kindly, explaining the truth to him with evidence, while supplicating for his guidance.
