Kinship ties are fulfilled by anything that is customarily considered a connection. The mother should try to reach an understanding with her husband regarding this matter with gentleness and kindness, and she can seek help from those close to him. If the father deliberately embarrasses the mother and makes her appear negligent, this is a reprehensible act, and it is obligatory to advise him and remind him of Allah Almighty.
