Is the questioner obligated to give a girl a sum of money that he promised her in exchange for seeing her face, after she showed a small part of it in a communication program and then showed him her full picture?

It is not permissible to request to see a woman's face without a legitimate Shar'i reason, such as engagement, and this is subject to six conditions: that it is without khalwa (private seclusion) or lust, that acceptance is highly probable, that the gaze is directed at the face, hands, head, and feet, that the suitor is serious about the proposal, and that the woman is not wearing adornment (mutabarrijah) or perfume.

If the gaze is without a legitimate reason, it is forbidden. The money paid for this is not permissible for the girl, and she must donate it as charity along with repentance.

The beholder is obligated to dispose of the money so as not to combine unlawful benefit with its عوض (compensation), and to donate it as charity, as stipulated in similar cases.
