Is it permissible to pay money to see the fiancée he is proposing to?
It is recommended for the suitor to see from his fiancée that which would incline him to marry her, according to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "If one of you proposes to a woman, and he is able to see some of what would incline him to her, then let him do so." Her permission or the permission of her guardians is not a condition. As for paying money in exchange for looking at her, scholars have not mentioned it, and it is not permissible to sell it because it is not something that can be monetized.
