This supplication is good and beautiful, and there is no prohibition in it. Its content is authentically reported from the Prophet, peace be upon him. It is narrated from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Prophet, peace be upon him, taught her this supplication: "O Allah, I ask You for all good, the soon and the delayed, what I know of it and what I do not know. And I seek refuge in You from all evil, the soon and the delayed, what I know of it and what I do not know. O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your servant and Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, asked You for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil from which Your servant and Prophet sought refuge. O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and for every word or deed that brings one closer to it, and I seek refuge in You from the Hellfire and from every word or deed that brings one closer to it. And I ask You to make every decree You decree for me good."
