What are the consequences for someone who suffers from continuous difficulty in excretion and an inability to control wind, feces, and urine, which affects their purity, prayer, and performance of 'Umrah? And is there any expiation upon them due to repeated prayers?

A person with a continuous ritual impurity (hadath da'im) has two situations: 1. If the impurity stops for a time sufficient for ablution (wudu') and prayer, then ablution and prayer must be performed within that time. 2. If the impurity does not stop or does not cease for a sufficient time, then one performs ablution after the entry of the prayer time and prays with this ablution both obligatory (fard) and supererogatory (nawafil) prayers. The emission of something during or outside of prayer does not matter until the prayer time expires.

This applies to 'Umrah. If the impurity is not continuous, circumambulation (tawaf) must be performed during the time it stops. If it is continuous, one purifies oneself and takes precautions before circumambulating, and whatever is emitted thereafter does not matter. As for the ritual running (sa'i), ritual purity is not a condition for it.

The prayers that have been performed are valid and do not need to be repeated. One should ignore intrusive thoughts (waswas) and not pay attention to them. Being outside the home is not an excuse to miss or delay prayer. As for the sleeper, there is no blame upon him until he awakens.
