How many parts does the Holy Qur’an have and what are their names?

The Quran consists of thirty juz' (parts), and each juz' is named after the surah (chapter) or ayah (verse) with which it begins. It is worth noting that some masaahif (copies of the Quran) may differ in the beginning of certain ajza' (plural of juz'). Usually, the designation of the ajza' relies on their numbering rather than their names.
