Is it permissible to ask people for financial help via WhatsApp to pay off debts and cover marriage expenses in light of unemployment?

It is forbidden to ask people for their money unless there is a necessity or an urgent need. In such cases, the needy person is permitted to ask for what suffices to remove their need. Numerous hadiths have been transmitted prohibiting asking except in cases of extreme necessity. The method of asking (such as WhatsApp) does not change the ruling of the matter.
