Whoever intentionally invalidates his fast by masturbating or engaging in unlawful foreplay has committed a grave sin and a serious transgression. He must offer sincere repentance and make up for that day. Discharging semen through foreplay or masturbation is among the things that break the fast. The sin is even greater if the foreplay is with a forbidden (non-mahram) person.
