What is the difference between using "لدى البيت" (at the house) and "في البيت" (in the house)?

"Ladā" (لدى) and "fī" (في) are both adverbs of place. "Ladā" means "near" or "at" and indicates proximity or being alongside, as in the Almighty's saying: (And they both found her master at the door) [Quran 12:25]. As for "fī," it indicates temporal and spatial adverbs of place, as in the Almighty's saying: (Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and springs) [Quran 15:45] and (in the nearest land) [Quran 30:3]. The difference between them is that "fī" indicates the inclusion of the contained within the container, whereas "ladā" indicates being alongside it.
