Is it permissible to feed sixty poor people as expiation for accidental killing if one is unable to fast due to the nature of their work as a truck driver, which requires daily travel?

The rulings concerning accidental killing and the details of its expiation have been previously clarified in earlier fatwas. This expiation is the freeing of a slave, and if none is available, then fasting for two consecutive months. If the killer is permanently unable to fast, some scholars are of the opinion that he must feed sixty poor people, while others believe nothing is incumbent upon him. Based on this, the fact that the questioner is a car driver does not render him permanently unable to fast, nor does it permit him to switch from fasting to feeding, as long as he is able to fast.
