What is the ruling on electronic computer games such as PlayStation, organizing competitions based on them by paying a small fee to purchase prizes, and preparing systems, devices, and an electronic network for computer game competitions without participating in them?

It is forbidden to prepare systems and devices for a company that organizes forbidden PlayStation competitions, whether or not the person performing the work is involved in the competition. This is because it constitutes aiding in sin and aggression. Allah Almighty has prohibited cooperation in sin and aggression, as He says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."
