Does divorce take place if the wife goes to her father's house, after the husband claimed he swore by divorce that she would not go, even though he did not swear?

Divorce does not occur if the wife goes to her family's home if the husband did not swear an oath of divorce, but rather lied about it. This is based on the statement of Ibn Qudamah: "If he says: 'I swore an oath of divorce,' or 'I have an oath of divorce upon me,' but he did not actually swear, then nothing is binding upon him between him and Allah the Almighty." The husband must repent to Allah for lying.
