Is the supplication upon drinking Zamzam water specific to those present in Makkah, or is it general, encompassing all Muslims in all countries?

The blessing of Zamzam water is general for all Zamzam water, whether in Makkah or outside it. Evidence has shown the permissibility of transporting Zamzam water outside Makkah and the persistence of its blessing, and that the predecessors used to carry it. Scholars have mentioned that the property of Zamzam water remains, and it is for whatever it is drunk for, whether drunk in Makkah or outside it. Sheikh Al-Albani retracted his prohibition of carrying Zamzam water and seeking blessings from it outside Makkah.
