Am I sinful if I drink water after Fajr prayer due to extreme thirst, dry throat, and inability to sleep?

If you do not fear perishing or illness, and you intentionally drank after the break of dawn, then you have committed a grave sin. You must offer sincere repentance and make up for that day. Expiation is not required of you, as it is specific to breaking the fast through intercourse.
