What is the ruling on the prayer of one who drank alcohol at night, then bathed and prayed Fajr?

Whoever drinks alcohol and then performs a prayer that fulfills all its conditions and pillars, his obligation is discharged, and he is not required to repeat it. However, he will not find any reward for it unless he repents, based on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Whoever drinks alcohol, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty mornings." The meaning of this is that there is no reward for him, even if the obligation of performing the prayer is dropped. Drinking alcohol is not among the reasons for ghusl (ritual bath).
