Is it permissible to consider transportation costs when going to learn Tajweed as charity, and does accepting transportation costs diminish the reward?

May Allah reward you for your reverence for His Book, and for your going and coming, and for the transportation fares you pay, which will be recorded for you as righteous deeds. There is no harm in taking transportation fares; you will still have the reward for teaching the Quran and striving for it. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best among you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it." Teaching the Quran and reciting its verses is better than many camels.
