Does what Aasim said to Hafs mean that the Mushaf of Ibn Mas'ud does not differ from the Mushaf of Uthman except in what Shu'bah disagreed with others on, or that Ibn Mas'ud abandoned his Mushaf?

The consensus of the Ummah was established regarding Uthman's compilation of the Qur'anic manuscripts (masaḥif). Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, however, adhered to his recitation which he had learned from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The authentic narrations that relate what Ibn Mas'ud said do not contain any command to hide the Qur'anic manuscripts. The Companions criticized Ibn Mas'ud for his stance, but Ibn Mas'ud eventually agreed with the majority, though he retained his recitation.
