Is it permissible to address the shortage of medicine quantities in the health unit's pharmacy by paying the value of examination and dispensing tickets and falsifying imaginary names on them, given the time constraints, the large number of patients, and sending a nurse to dispense the medicine, under the pretext that the names on the tickets are not reviewed?

The person in charge of a job, such as a pharmacist, must perform it with honesty and integrity. They must control what enters and leaves the pharmacy, and verify examination slips to identify any discrepancies. The proposed method of handling that involves forgery and deceit is not permissible. Rather, one must strive diligently in their work and seek the truth. You are entrusted with medications, so fear Allah and render trusts to their rightful owners, as Allah Almighty says: (Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due). If there is a shortage of medications without any negligence on your part, you are not legally responsible for it, and you should be forthright with the officials.
