Is the last sentence in the Hadith Qudsi: "O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins as great as the earth, and were you to meet Me, not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with forgiveness as great as it," general for every Muslim who has purified their monotheism and cleansed their heart from all types of polytheism, even the minor ones like showing off, or is it restricted by will, like Allah's saying: "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills," and does it include major sins?

Allah’s promise in the hadith (definition) is general for every monotheist who associates nothing with Allah, and it is qualified by Allah’s will concerning forgiveness, as indicated by the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah (definition). So, whoever comes with pure monotheism along with sins that nearly fill the earth, Allah will meet him with forgiveness that nearly fills it, but that is by His will, Glorified be He. If He wills, He will forgive him, and if He wills, He will punish him for his sins, then bring him out of the Fire to enter Paradise. It has been established that pure monotheism expiates major sins.
