The phrase "Whoever relies [on Allah] does not worry" is not from the Quran or the Hadith; rather, it is a saying that may belong to some wise individuals. Its meaning is that whoever genuinely relies on Allah will not worry about what happens thereafter, due to their certainty that Allah will suffice them. However, it is incorrect to understand it as abandoning means (taking necessary actions). True reliance (tawakkul) does not contradict taking means (asbab), and abandoning them is considered a passive reliance (tawākul), for which the doer may be sinful, as it goes against the Sunnah.
