What is the ruling on lack of self-confidence and fear in Islam, and is a lack of self-confidence considered humility?

Lack of self-confidence is a weakness that Islam does not approve of. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in both. Strive for what benefits you, seek Allah's help, and do not be helpless." Lack of self-confidence is not synonymous with humility. Humility is a praiseworthy quality and does not contradict self-confidence. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was humble and courageous at the same time.
