Muslims have followed this approach, an example of which is the book "Ma'alim al-Sunan" by Sheikh Salih al-Shami, which summarizes books, removes chains of transmission (isnad), and eliminates repetition without altering the wording of the Prophetic hadiths. This work is desirable and praiseworthy because it serves the interest of making the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, more accessible and easier to memorize, especially for non-specialists.
