Have the jurists of the four schools of thought unanimously agreed upon the disbelief of whoever throws a Mushaf into a trash can, regardless of their intention, and does the same ruling apply to whoever throws papers or books that contain a Quranic verse?

The majority of scholars agree that throwing the Qur’an into filth is an act of disbelief, whether intentional or unintentional, unless there is an indication that disrespect was not intended, such as throwing it out of fear that a disbeliever might take it. It is not permissible to dispose of the Qur’an by throwing it into the trash; rather, it should be burned or buried.
