Could you explain the Hadith: "My Ummah will not unite upon error"?

The Hadith, "My Ummah will not agree upon error," was narrated by Ibn Majah, Al-Tabarani, and others. Many scholars have judged it to be weak, stating that its chains of transmission are not free from criticism, among them Imam Al-Nawawi, Badr Al-Din Al-Ayni, Al-Sindi, and Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar. However, some contemporary scholars have deemed it Hasan (good) due to the collective strength of its various chains.

Its meaning is that the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) will not agree upon a religious ruling that constitutes misguidance. Rather, their consensus on a ruling is an indication that it is the truth.
