What is the ruling on peaceful demonstrations organized by the Muslim community in southern Sweden to pressure the Swedish government to stop the massacres against the children of the Palestinian people?

Demonstrations and means of expressing opinion are means to ends, and they are governed by controls. They are viewed from two perspectives: 1. The means used: Is it commanded, permissible, or forbidden? If it is commanded by Sharia, its use is permissible. If it is forbidden (haram), its use is forbidden even if the end is legitimate. If it is disliked (makrooh), its use is disliked. If it is permissible, the correct view is that means are not limited and take the ruling of their objectives, and it is sufficient for their permissibility that the Lawgiver has not forbidden them. 2. The objectives: Means take the rulings of their objectives. If the intention is legitimate, it is permissible to achieve it by any means not forbidden by Sharia.

Supporting the oppressed Muslim is a religious obligation, as stated in the Almighty's saying: ﴿AND IF THEY SEEK YOUR HELP IN RELIGION, THEN IT IS YOUR DUTY TO HELP THEM﴾ [Al-Anfal: 72], and the hadith: "The similitude of the believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion is like that of a single body; if one part of it suffers, the rest of the body joins it in sleeplessness and fever."

Therefore, there is no objection to organizing demonstrations and protests in solidarity with our brothers in Palestine, while observing the Sharia controls, for this is the weakest of faith and the minimum obligation.
