Is it permissible to obligate the husband to swear an oath, using the words "you will be divorced," in the event he resumes watching pornographic films, or to add a condition to the marriage contract preventing him from doing so, in order to limit his repetition of this act?

The wife is not permitted to make her husband swear an oath of divorce or to stipulate a new condition in the marriage contract related to his divorce if he resumes watching prohibited films. However, she has the right to seek divorce or khul' if he does not desist from this. She should strive to advise him, help him abandon the company of transgressors, encourage him to associate with the righteous, cooperate with him in obeying Allah, and frequently supplicate for him. It should be noted that jealousy, if it exceeds the bounds of moderation, is blameworthy.
