What is the ruling on taking back one's wife after divorcing her three times under duress, and is this considered disobedience to parents, and what should the husband do, especially since she is pregnant?

Marriage is religiously encouraged due to the numerous benefits it entails, such as protecting one's chastity and increasing progeny. Parents do not have the right to prevent their child from marrying without a legitimate religious reason, and their obedience is not obligatory in this case, because obedience is only due in matters of righteousness.

If the divorce occurred due to compelling coercion, such as a threat of murder, then the divorce does not take effect at all. However, if the coercion was not compelling, and the husband uttered, "You are divorced, divorced, divorced" without intention, then only one divorce takes effect. In this case, the husband can take his wife back without a new contract if she is still within her waiting period (iddah (definition)), or with a new contract after the iddah has expired. We advise parents to fear Allah concerning their children and not to prevent them from doing good.
