Is it permissible for a man to talk to a woman via Messenger if he allows his mother to view the conversations later, and is that considered khalwa (private seclusion)?

A man's call to a foreign woman via Messenger or other platforms is not considered khalwa (private seclusion), whether the mother or others are aware of the calls or not. Nevertheless, these calls are not permissible except for a legitimate need, because they are a gateway to fitna (temptation/strife), as mentioned by Al-Khadimi in "Bariqat Mahmudiyah."
