Is the hope for the acceptance of repentance from one who apostatized from Islam and then repented and returned, especially if their apostasy was due to an act of sorcery, a valid hope, or is this hope like the doubt in the hearts of the hypocrites?

Whoever falls into disbelief (kufr) or apostasy (riddah) and then repents with sincere repentance, Allah Almighty will accept their repentance and replace their evil deeds with good ones. This is a matter of consensus among the scholars, unlike repentance from sins, where there is a difference of opinion as to whether its acceptance is definitive (qat'i) or probabilistic (dhanni). Repentance from disbelief is definitively accepted, and the Sharia has stipulated that Islam demolishes what came before it, and that Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of those who repent and reform, even from sorcery. A Muslim should turn to Allah Almighty with worship and obedience, and have a good opinion of Him, and not pay attention to the whisperings of Satan who causes despair concerning repentance, for Allah Almighty accepts those who repent and rejoices at those who return to Him.
