Are the supplications that include “O Possessor of Ancient Grace, O Most Great, O You none has the right to be worshipped but You, heal her and relieve her distress,” and the supplication “O Allah, You already know our need before we ask You for it, so fulfill it for us,” and the supplication “I adjure You, O Lord, to respond to me; calm down, O sea, for you are but an Abyssinian slave,” and “O Guide of the perplexed, guide me to the path of the truthful, and make me among Your righteous servants,” permissible?

The Shariah has permitted the Muslim to choose whichever supplication pleases him most, even if its wording is not explicitly fixed in the texts of the Shariah, as long as it does not contain any Shariah violation. It is better for a person to seek out the supplications from the Quran and , because the Prophet (peace be upon him) preferred comprehensive supplications.
