Is saying “Allah is your father” or “Allah is your father” considered unlawful (haram) or an act of disbelief (kufr), especially if the speaker does not intend that Allah is the father, but rather intends cursing or insult? And is uttering it or laughing upon hearing it—after realizing its meaning, which implies that Allah has a son—considered an act of disbelief, given the ignorance of its meaning at the time of utterance or laughter?

We advise you to fear Allah and to ward off these whisperings from yourself, as it is clear that you are afflicted with obsessive whisperings (waswas) concerning mockery. If you uttered the aforementioned word without knowledge of its meaning or intention, then you are not held accountable for it, as mistakes are pardoned. And saying it to yourself after becoming aware of the ambiguity in its meaning carries no consequence, because Allah has overlooked thoughts that one has within oneself, as long as they are not spoken or acted upon. Avoid using the word, as its apparent meaning is objectionable, and keep away from insults and curses. Safeguard your tongue and hand from harming Muslims.
