What is the ruling on taking psychiatric medications to treat depression and similar conditions, and do they conflict with ruqyah (exorcism/healing) with the Qur'an and the Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas)?

It is permissible to seek treatment from a trustworthy and reliable psychiatrist, as long as their treatment does not involve anything forbidden, because the Sharia commands seeking treatment.

It is also obligatory to seek healing through the Quran and legitimate invocations (dhikr), such as Ayatul-Kursi, the Two Last Surahs (Al-Mu'awwidhatayn), and the concluding verses of Al-Baqarah, for they are a cure for souls and bodies and a protection from Satan, the evil eye, and magic, provided one adheres to the obligations of Islam and trusts in Allah.
