How can semen be discharged without pleasure, and does its discharge merely due to thinking or imagining necessitate expiation, as happened to someone during Ramadan, especially given that there are other fatwas stating that expiation is not required if semen is discharged while fasting, even if due to touching? And how can one distinguish between semen (mani) and pre-ejaculatory fluid (madhy) when one of them is discharged with desire, especially if madhy does not necessitate ghusl, given the disagreement about semen being discharged without pleasure? And what is the correct interpretation of Allah overlooking what His nation thinks to itself, unless they act upon it or speak of it, in light of the differing fatwas regarding the impermissibility of imagining?

The emission of semen without desire is a known matter, and it has its own rulings. As for semen emitted due to imagination, it does not invalidate the fast according to the majority of scholars. However, it does invalidate it if it is due to kissing or touching, and it necessitates a make-up fast without expiation according to the majority, and this is the more preponderant opinion. As for (pre-seminal fluid), its emission does not invalidate the fast.
