Is it a sin to remain in an administrative position at a court, such as human resources management, if the court rules by other than what Allah has ordained? And is one rewarded for leaving it due to the doubt and dislike of ruling by other than what Allah has revealed?

Working on tasks that serve a judiciary which rules contrary to Allah's law is considered assisting those who engage in forbidden acts. Assisting in forbidden acts is prohibited by Islamic law, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." The least consequence of this is condoning the forbidden act, and condoning and being pleased with disobedience is forbidden and contrary to what the Lawgiver commanded regarding denouncing it. Whoever dislikes sin is absolved, and whoever denounces it is safe. However, whoever condones and follows it will be held accountable and punished. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses; all of them are equal in sin. And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
