In a time when immodesty and nudity are widespread, should one speak with girls using "a word with its cover"?

Speaking with a non-mahram (definition) woman is not permissible unless there is assurance against temptation (fitna). Allah has forbidden women from speaking in a soft, enticing manner, lest those with sickness in their hearts should covet. Allah has not permitted speaking with them except with adherence to the veil (hijab (definition)), as He Almighty said: "And when you ask [his wives] for anything, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts." The need for these commands and prohibitions is more urgent in times of temptation.
