Is it obligatory to cut up personal photos that were taken while I was committing a sin, along with their reminder of the sin?

There is no difference in the ruling on photography, whether a person is in a state of ritual impurity (junub) or purity. Therefore, it is not necessary to dispose of a picture taken while in a state of ritual impurity, and it is permissible to use it for qualifications or documents. The thought that it recalls a sin might be from the whispers of Satan, so a Muslim should reject it and offer sincere repentance for what has passed, for Allah has pardoned this nation for what their souls whisper to them, as long as they do not speak or act upon it.
