What must I do regarding oaths of divorce whose details I do not recall, knowing that some of them were intended to intimidate, and others had no specific intention determined?

The majority of scholars hold that if a person swears by divorce or makes it conditional on an event and then breaks the oath, his wife is divorced, whether he intended to effect a divorce or merely to threaten. Some scholars, like Ibn Taymiyyah, consider one who swears by divorce for the purpose of threat to be like one who swears by Allah, in which case he is bound by an expiation for an oath and no divorce takes place. The prevalent fatwa is based on the opinion of the majority. Therefore, if you swear by divorce and then break your oath, a divorce occurs. However, if you are unsure whether you have broken the oath, no divorce occurs, because the default state is the continuation of the marriage.
