Is it permissible for a Muslim party to campaign in mosques?

Mosques must be protected from election campaigns if these campaigns cause disputes, conflicts, and discord among worshippers, due to the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “And beware of the commotions of the marketplaces.” However, if they are free from Sharia (definition) prohibitions such as lying and backbiting, and they align with the objectives of the Sharia by supporting truth and realizing the interests of Muslims, and their harm does not outweigh their benefit, then there is no objection to them.
