What is the ruling on watching translated anime series, and what is the ruling on guiding people to watch them?

We have previously clarified the permissibility of animated series as long as they do not include forbidden elements or concepts that contradict Islam, such as promoting non-Muslim beliefs, ridiculing religion, advocating for forbidden acts, spreading indecency and licentiousness, or music unless the sound is muted.

As for guiding people to watch them, there is no harm in it if it is for someone known to adhere to the Sharia guidelines. However, for someone who does not care about these guidelines, it is not permissible to guide them to watch them. Indeed, it is forbidden if this is known or highly probable, unless one guides them to a specific series from which all prohibitions are absent. This is rare in translated series due to the multitude of violations they contain.

It is better for a Muslim to occupy themselves with what benefits them, such as reading or useful programs concerning religious and worldly matters, and not to watch these animated series and others excessively, even if they are free from prohibitions, due to their general lack of benefit and their waste of time.
