What is the ruling on profits from selling pork to non-Muslims, and is it permissible to take them as charity, and is there an explicit text prohibiting the sale of pork to non-Muslims?

It is forbidden to issue a fatwa without knowledge, and to speak about what is lawful and unlawful without evidence. It is forbidden to sell pork to disbelievers and Muslims, based on evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah, such as His (Allah's) saying: (Say, "I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to be eaten by one who eats it, unless it be a dead animal or blood poured forth or the flesh of swine — for indeed, that is an abomination — or an act of disobedience dedicated to other than Allah.") and the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, when Allah forbids a thing, He forbids its price." As for money obtained from unlawful sources before knowing of the prohibition, there is no sin in it. However, after knowing it, one must abstain from it.
