What is the ruling on abbreviating "peace be upon him" (صلى الله عليه وسلم) when writing it to (صلي) or (صلم) or (ص)?

It is not permissible to write the prayer upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in an abbreviated form using symbols. This is because Allah commanded Muslims to send complete prayers and salutations upon him. Praying upon him, peace and blessings be upon him, has immense benefits: it is an obedience to the command of Allah Almighty, an agreement with His angels, a multiplication of reward, a cause for blessings and the answering of supplications, and an increase in love for him, peace and blessings be upon him. Scholars have warned against abbreviating it because it diminishes the reward and its intended purpose, and the reader may not understand it.
