Is the aqiqah valid if the sacrifice is made after seven days from the birth of the baby girl?

The 'Aqiqah is valid and takes place after birth, aligning with the Maliki school of thought and those who agree with them regarding the calculation of the seventh day for the 'Aqiqah, which considers the day of birth to be excluded if it preceded dawn. As for the majority of scholars, they include the day of birth within the seven days, and the 'Aqiqah is performed on the seventh day from it.
